The UNIGLOBE charity work continues the route from last year in the form of the Prudential 100 mile cycle "RideLondon". Once again we are raising money for Plan International and the fantastic work they do for humanitarian projects around the world.
UNIGLOBE has supported Plan International for many years; with the first two campaigns, Kilimanjaro and Machu Picchu raising over £70,000 for this worthwhile charity. In 2014 we undertook a London to Paris cycle ride and a Dover to London walk. And 2015 saw the feat of a 84km canoe trip over 12 hours in Sweden, a total race against time and tide.
2017 will see Patrick Hooft from the Uniglobe regional team, our Regional President and Mark Hewett from Uniglobe Gemini battle the elements and all the hills involved. They will cycle 100 miles around the outskirts of London starting from the Olympic Park in Stratford, taking in the sights of the Tower of London, Chiswick, Kingston, out to the Surrey countryside and back via the infamous Box and Leith Hills, through Wimbledon, Putney and ending along the Mall outside Buckingham Palace.
